ABOUT THE RETREAT
Escape to Yelapa, Mexico | January 14-18, 2027
Breathe, move, and unwind in the lush, tropical landscape of Mexico’s Pacific coast. Tucked high in the jungle above Yelapa, Verana offers a sense of true escape, accessible only by boat and surrounded by sweeping ocean views, wild greenery, and total stillness. Each day will include yoga and pilates to restore balance, alongside ample time to relax, explore, swim in the ocean below, or simply soak in the magic of this one-of-a-kind setting. This is a space to slow down, reconnect with your body, and settle into a more effortless rhythm.
Our home for the retreat, Verana, is unlike anywhere else. An architectural sanctuary of open-air palapas, handcrafted details, and thoughtfully designed spaces that blur the line between indoors and out. With its iconic jungle views, serene infinity pool, and intimate, design-led atmosphere, every corner invites presence, creativity, and deep rest.
This retreat is an invitation to step away from the noise and into something more elemental. To move mindfully, breathe deeply, and reconnect, with yourself, with nature, and with others. Whether we’re practicing at sunrise overlooking the ocean, lounging poolside beneath the palms, or sharing long, candlelit dinners, you’ll leave feeling grounded, inspired, and likely with a new sense of clarity, and a few new friends.
Start your year off with a truly unforgettable experience. If this retreat is calling to you, we’d love to hear from you.

About Bailey
Bailey Kai has been lucky enough to be leading movement based offerings for almost a decade. Her favorite quality is curiosity, & she engages with her own by continuously participating in trainings, workshops, & generally saying yes to what life opens up for her. Over the years this has included two comprehensive 200 hr trainings & a comprehensive 300 hr training under the guide of her mentor Rebekah Rivera, various subsequent trainings & lectures led by the likes of Annie Carpenter & Russ Pfeiffer (to name a few), as well as participating in the inaugural US training of Inner Engineering led by Sadhguru himself. Power Flow, Yin Yoga, and Pilates fuel her love of connection to body, while Breath Work, Yoga Nidra, and Meditation supplement her desire for deeper connection to conscious self. Above all, Bailey is passionate about providing an inclusive, joyous, & hopefully transformative experience in all that she offers.
She looks forward to expanding what she can share with others, which may include a joke or two along the way.

Food at Verana is an experience in itself - fresh, vibrant, and deeply connected to its surroundings. Meals are thoughtfully prepared using locally sourced ingredients, with an emphasis on seasonal produce, just-caught seafood, and bold, nourishing flavors. Expect colourful, abundant plates that feel both wholesome and indulgent, enjoyed in beautiful open-air settings overlooking the jungle and ocean. Dining here is slow and communal, a chance to gather, savor, and fully immerse in the rhythm of the retreat.

This will all be carefully handled for you and included in the cost.
