Isola del Giglio Summer 2026
ABOUT THE RETREAT
Come escape with us to the tiny, undiscovered island of Giglio, June 25–30, 2026, for a laidback, authentic Italian summer by the sea.
Isola del Giglio feels like an untouched hidden gem. Life there moves slowly in the best way. Think morning swims in crystal clear water, lazy afternoons under the sun, fresh local meals, and zero pressure to rush. It’s the kind of place where you can truly step away from the noise and business of everyday life and just settle into a slower, gentler rhythm.
We’ll have daily movement sessions, peaceful moments to reset, and plenty of open time to explore (very fun via Vespa), float in the sea (just steps from your doorstep), kayak on over to a stunning beach, have a drink or two, make a new friend, or just nap in the sun.
If you’re craving a true summer escape, warm, relaxed, and blissfully off the radar, our retreat in Giglio is for you.
ABOUT PARDINI’S HERMITAGE
Pardini’s Hermitage was built in 1953 as a summerhouse for the Pardini family in an untouched, natural environment on Isola del Giglio and can only be reached by boat. In 1956, the family decided to share this enchanted place with guests and that is still what it is now, a family home more than a traditional hotel.
If you accept the simplicity and appreciate the peace that it gives, you will understand the original idea behind the Hermitage. As Frediano Pardini describes it: "sole e mare in pace e libertà" (sun and sea in peace and freedom).
This concept of a vacation far from noise and the frenzy of modern life is still alive at the Hermitage today and is ran with love and attention by Federigo Pardini and his wife Barbara.
About Bailey
Bailey Kai has been lucky enough to be leading movement-based offerings for almost a decade. Her favorite quality is curiosity, and she engages with her own by continuously participating in trainings, workshops, and generally saying yes to what life opens up for her. Over the years this has included two comprehensive 200-hour trainings & a comprehensive 300-hour training under the guide of her mentor Rebekah Rivera, various subsequent trainings & lectures led by the likes of Annie Carpenter & Russ Pfeiffer (to name a few), as well as participating in the inaugural US training of Inner Engineering led by Sadhguru himself. Power Flow, Yin Yoga, and Pilates fuel her love of connection to body, while Breath Work, Yoga Nidra, and Meditation supplement her desire for deeper connection to conscious self. Above all, Bailey is passionate about providing an inclusive, joyous, & hopefully transformative experience in all that she offers.
She looks forward to expanding what she can share with others, which may include a joke or two along the way.
About Bobby
Bobby’s practice began in his late teens, when a well-timed crisis brought him to his first teacher, Gimel Everett. Since then, his path has woven through Dharma Yoga, Mysore-style Ashtanga, and - most influential in recent years - Katonah Yoga and Pilates. His work rests on the principle that the way you do one thing is the way you do everything: how you inhabit your footing, your spine, your vision, and your breath reflects how you move through your life - neurologically, psychologically, and spiritually.
He teaches from the understanding that reorganizing one’s embodiment creates new pathways for freedom and capacity- supporting stronger self- and co-regulation, plugging you back into yourself, and expanding your potency, power, and joy.
Now over a decade into teaching, Bobby is especially grateful for the mentorship and generosity of Abbie Galvin, Julia Planine Troiani, and Sri Dharma Mittra. His classes invite students into an experience that is curious, well-informed, and well-embodied through the vehicle of a maybe fun, deeply unserious, potentially sweaty, and - at best - transformative practice.

MEALS
Food plays a big part in the joy of staying at Pardini’s. A mainly Mediterranean menu, all is homemade with love by Barbara and Marcella in the little kitchen behind the main dining room.
Most of the ingredients, including the meat, is produced on the property. Fish comes from the island fishermen or from the salty water of Orbetello lake. The vegetable garden on site provides produce and there is even a little mill that grinds the grains for bread, pasta and cakes. Everything is cultivated in an organic way, respectful of the environment. If needed, Barbara can also make very balanced and tasty vegetarian dishes.
GETTING THERE
The closest airport is Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO). We will coordinate transportation to Porto Santo Stefano port (included), where you will then take a 1 hr ferry to Giglio. The hotel is only accessible by boat so we will also coordinate water taxis from the port to the hotel (included). We promise it is worth the journey & will make it as seamless as possible.
If you want to spend a few extra days by the sea near Porto Santo Stefano, we would be happy to provide you with great hotel recommendations!
